Onsite alerts vs Telegram alerts
Both channels use the same Crash Value and Streak Count rule, but they behave differently once that rule is met, and it is worth knowing the difference before you rely on either one.
Onsite alerts
Once your streak reaches your threshold, an onsite alert keeps notifying on every single qualifying round for as long as the streak continues. The tradeoff is that onsite detection only works while you have that specific game's page open in your browser. Close the tab, and it stops watching.
Telegram alerts
Telegram alerts check in less often once triggered: after the first alert, it re-fires every additional Streak Count rounds rather than every single one. For a Streak Count of 5, that means a fresh message at 5 rounds, then again at 10, then 15, and so on, not one every round. In exchange, Telegram reaches you anywhere, any time, once your account is linked, with no tab needing to stay open.
Which to use when
- Watching one table closely, want to catch every qualifying round: onsite
- Want to know about a table without keeping it open: Telegram
- Want both, in case one misses something: set up both channels on the same instance
